How to Care For Leather Shoes

Your expensive branded watch or expensive branded bag or shoes can be a great investment that will offer a timeless look and longevity. More so, they can even be handed to next generations as well. This is possible only if the watch, bag or shoes has been taken care of regularly with only branded care. Shoes made of leather or any other material need utmost care and protection as they are regularly used and have to bear lots of wear and tear. Get your shoes some products such as an acrylic leather dye which takes care of your shoes and helps them stay as good as new for years to come. Of course, at the beginning, all the high quality and branded products seem to be expensive but it is worth it as they are going to be with you for years to come.

Taking care of shoes

* shoes soaked in water – immediately stuff them up with newspaper and keep them in a dry place with no direct sunlight as sunlight will cause the shoes to crack.

* throw the box – do not store the shoes in a shoe box as it will harm the texture making it lose its shine and material due to the humidity in the box. Store the shoes on a shoe rack which will help the shoes with air circulation.

* give them a break – your shoes need a break sometimes too. So make it a point to rest them and use other ones so that they retain their original shape and look. Even shoes need a breather and wearing them for long hours daily can exhaust them.

* condition the shoes – after regular use you have to condition the shoes. You can buy a good shoe conditioner cream and apply it with a cotton cloth liberally so that it reaches inside the leather. After a few minutes, you can rub off excess cream.

Coloring – if you want to color or dye your shoes, then use branded leather dye if they are leather shoes or any other dye like Nubuck dye for Nubuck shoes.

Proper care can retain the original look and also extend the life of your leather shoes.
